Penistone is the highest market town in the country and one of the best-kept secrets in South Yorkshire and the Pennines. Junior Star Singer arrived once again with a mix of excited and nervous contestants from the northern area who were greeted by last year's winner, Kasey-Wray Wooderson, who won in the best vocalist category for Junior Star Singer 2017 .
